I am conducting a table top drill for tonight's weekly drill. This is the first time I am attempting anything like this. and I am looking for a few ideas on how to run it. My thoughts are to give some people the chance to be officers and call the shots first and follow it up with a scenario that the Chiefs run the call. Or should I do it the other way around and have the Chiefs go first and then let others have a shot at it.

I think that I would let the firefighter go first then the line officers and the chiefs, but I would do a demo with a chief or your training officer first so the other can see how it will go.
That is exactly what I am looking to do. I want to give the opportunity for others to get the feel of IC , and making decisions minus the stress of an actual incident. I am not looking to use it as practice for the Chiefs or line officers.
