Suspicious fire kills couple in central Pa.
(Associated Press)

A central Pennsylvania couple is dead after a fire tore through their Lancaster County home.

Officials say 59-year-old Gary Longo and 55-year-old Carolyn Longo died in the fire Friday morning in Landisville.

Fire personnel say the couple was removed from a second-floor window and died a short time later.

Acting East Hempfield Township Police Chief Don Metzger says the fire is suspicious.

A state police fire marshal is investigating the blaze.
