State Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident on Route 5 and 20 and Livonia Center Road in the town of Lima.

 

Police say 17-year-old Olivia Luxon of Lima was driving westbound on 5 and 20 Monday, when she turned left on to Livonia Center Road, she crashed into a motorcycle driven by 25-year-old Daniel Clark of Springwater.

 

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial police reports say, failure to yield the right of way and sun glare contributed to the accident.

 

A dump truck and car collided Monday morning on Route 15A in Lima.

 

The driver of the car, Lucius Stephens, from Salamanca, NY, was traveling South on Rt. 15A, when he crossed the yellow line and hit a dump truck. Stephens had to be extricated from the car and was transported to Strong Hospital where he later died.

 

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

 

No charges were filed in this accident. 

 

Both accidents occured with in 10 hours of eachother.
