I am making a video for my fire dept and need some songs that pertain to or are about firefighters. Or just sound really cool with clips of firefighting. Or any song you can think of that would be useful for this purpose. Thanks. :-)
Of course I'm old, so I like oldies...One of my favorites has always been "When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Get Going" by Billy Ocean. A newer one many like is "Hero" by Nickelback.
Yellowcard - Believe
Staind - Believe
Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen
Rise Against - Audience Of One
Chris Bergmann - Warriors of the Flame
Tremolo - You Were Born For This
Sister Hazel - Sword And Shield
Angels and Airwaves - The War
Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company
Flatfoot 56 - Brotherhood
Nickelback - Burn It To The Ground
I'm old too, but I'm also a curmudgeon, so I hate music soundtracks with fire videos.
If I want to listen to music, I listen to music. If I want to listen to something that fits a fire video, I want to hear the sounds of the fire scene, like flames crackling, incoming sirens, people screaming, dogs barking, stuff like that.
Radio traffic is cool, too.
If it has a music track, I turn the sound down and say rude things.
I really like the rock song route, but one of my favorites to listen to when watching fire attack is "draggin a line" by Tommy James. Pretty cool old song.
There is a song written by an instructor at the Mississippi Fire Academy. If you go to Youtube and type in "Mississippi Fire Academy class 46" the song is playing in the video. It is a great firefighter song.
