this is where my g/f and i are taking a vaction starting wed and going through sunday. was just curious if there was anyone on here from around that area. 2 reason. 1 i love going to fire houses and talking with the guys (or girls) checking out rigs and gear and what not. and 2 my g/f fully supports me in what i want to do but she does not know much about it, and i have taken her to different departments here, but obviously there are differences between departments. she just likes learning about the job and meeting the people who do it.

although she does fully support me, she still asks why sometime, and does not get everything we do. and worries alot, and i know she always will. but with knowing more about it maybe there is less to worry about. so i just like to introduce her to it as much as possible making her more comfortable with it. hope that makes sense.
any way anyone in that area. or back in our area also (mason, cincy, milford area) willing to show a newcomer and maybe his g/f around?
