Retired Pittsburgh Firefighter Murder Suspects Appear in Court

PITTSBURGH - Two teens charged with murdering a retired Pittsburgh firefighter are scheduled to appear in court.

Sixteen-year-old Tyrone Thomas and 17-year-old Cordell Brown face a preliminary hearing Friday morning. Police say they shot and killed retired firefighter Mark Barry while he walked his dog last month.

Authorities say Thomas and Brown were part of a group of teens that trailed Barry and accosted him. They say Brown told them he wanted money to buy heroin.

According to police, Thomas and Brown each say the other pulled the trigger.

Police are still looking for two other teen suspects.
