DOVER, Del. - Authorities in Dover are investigating the cause of a blaze at an apartment building that left one person dead and displaced dozens from their homes.
The fast-moving fire started early Sunday morning, apparently in a first-floor apartment at the Woodcrest Arms apartment building. Residents were expected to meet Monday with Dover Fire Marshal Dave Truax to find out if they can return and look for belongings.
The name of the woman killed has not been released. Residents say some on the higher floors of the three-story building were forced to jump to escape and authorities say at least two other people were critically injured.
