Join us this year on September 11m 2011 for the 4th Annual 343 Miles for 343 Fallen BROTHERS Memorial September 11th Walk/Run. Benefits the National Fallen Firefigthers Foundation. See www.1ststatefools.org for additioanl information. This is a 2.3 miles walk/run. Firefighters are being challenged to make the walk in full turn out gear, walk as a company to honor THOSE WHO GAVE SOME and THOSE THAT GAVE ALL. If we have 1,294 walkers and runners this year, this would be 1 mile for each of the 2,974 victims of September 11, 2001. ( 2.3 miles times 1,294 is ~2,974), This is taking place in New Castle County, Delaware.
