Hi,

I am interested in learning what radios are being used and are "affordable". We currently use XTS 1500 and 2500 handhelds from Motorola and I know these are no longer being manufactured. Our local shop in Alaska has been promoting APX 6000 and 8000's. The 6000's cost about $5,000 to be fully programmed. Are there any other options out there, that don't cost that much? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
