At the Department I work for we R and D gear and other things when we look at buying new items, Im sure other departments do the same thing my question that I ask is, what kind of process do you have (if you have one) for R&Ding an item? time line, forms or questioners that you give to those individuals that are trying the item out, I only ask this because we had a question brought up on the PPE committee that I am on "How did they like it?" and the answer was, they said it was pretty cool, and in my head im like what kind of answer is that, he has been using this item for 6-8 months and thats all the info we gained, so then it was brought up we dont really have an R&D profile, dont really want to reinvent the wheel so i thought I would test the waters with other brothers out there in what you may and may not do....
