queston
in my state the only people that can run code 2 is ems am police why is that????

I think that every state has done away with code 2. But we all run it at 3 am when theres no one on the streets and no need for waking the cemetery up.

You should follow what your state regulations, and your department sog's allow you to do! If that is what your state regs. say about who's allowed to respond at what code, than so be it! Need more information on what it is your asking?

my depts sog allows us to run code 2 but the other day i was pulled over by the police an they informed me i wasnt allowed to run code 2

Your department policy should coincide with your state regulations. The police are going to enforce what ever your state regulations requires! If the the two are not coinciding, then the police will be pulling some more members over!
