Hey guys, im a full time firefighter up in MA, my wife and I are thinking about relocating our family to a warmer climate with cheaper cost of living - like NC. I was just wondering if you guys could give me some insight as to the job climate down there. Is it difficult to get a job? Does being a FF/paramedic help? any cities hiring soon? Do firefighter have to work 2 jobs to own a pay a mortgage? and lastly any suggestions for good communities with a good education system for my children (3 and 7). Thanks for the help guys!

only thing i have to say about NC is stay away from fayettville and paramedic always helps less people to contend with in hiring process. as far as people looking to hire i always check out DAIly DISPATCH cant remember the exact address for it but do a search and you can search by state
