FDNY Firefighters Told to Not Post Trump Photos in Firehouses Department says message is simply a reminder of current policy about politics
NEW YORK – FDNY firefighters have reportedly been told to not post photos of President-elect Donald Trump in city firehouses, according to NY1.
Over several days, word has been spread among the department that firefighters are to avoid political displays in firehouses, on fire apparatus, and on clothing worn at work. The fire department told NY1 that the directive was not focused on any one candidate in particular but to remind personnel of a longstanding policy regarding politics and the workplace.
