Please Help Out
Hello All
I Am a firefighter with a small department . . The gear we have now is old and worn out. We have 8 firefighters without gear and we need some help so we can try to get these firefighters in some gear so they can fight fires the only problem is we dont have the funds to get any gear at all and we dont want the firefighters to have to buy it out of there pockets we have filed for grants had fundraisers and no luck so im turning to the brother hood for some help .if any one out there has any gear ,pagers ,helments or any firefighting equment, scbas rit gear tools any thing and want to donate it to us please contact me at tiny2406@aol.com or you can give me a call at 423-314-7931 we have also tried grants and there is no luck if we cant get help through the brotherhood of firefighters and with the economy the way it is then we wont get it anytime soon and that is bad for our community cause then we will not have the personal we need or may even have to shut down and not be able to assist this community so please help us out and thanks for the concern god bless and stay safe Come on Now brotherhood i know yall can help out with this we all can pull together and help this small department just think it could be your department asking for help thanks chris

I know there's money out there for you in terms of grants, I just don't know how to access them.
I would like to know what kind of fundraisers you did? What is your population in your coverage area? how big is your coverage area? What's your community involvement like? How big is your dept.?
Here, our local gov't set aside a huge chunk of cash specifically for vol.fire dept.s every year. And it is for just that very thing...to equip firefighters or do upgrades to the building. This year we can access up to, I think, $50,000. See if you have something like that there. It's usually at the beginning of the new year.
There are tons of ideas in here for fundraisers too. Check them out.
How's your mutual aid? Do you get much help from that when you do have an emergency?

Hey Bro give me all your info and I will bring it to my company at the jan. meeting earliest i could do something like this if we have anything I will present it and se what we can do if anything
