PITTSBURGH - A woman has been charged with arson after Pittsburgh police said she set her house on fire after locking herself out.

Investigators said the woman was locked out of the house and couldn't get in, so she intentionally set her rear awning on fire and called 911.

Firefighters arrived at the home around 5 p.m. Saturday. Police say the woman asked them to let her into her house.

Instead, she was arrested and is charged with arson. Her name wasn't immediately released.
