pistol grips
A former medic was promoted to A/C Finance and because the booster lines had pistol grips(most of them) he bought them all the time. Nobody noticed the booster nozzles going from 65gpm to 35 gpm and nobody noticed line management that sucked. Ladder straps and hose straps disappeared. I had my own. I made hydrant ropes large enough to use as a hose strap but you had to use a pruszik instead of a clove. I have seen line management worsen geometrically from 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 to 2 to 2 1/2. Is it possible to have an old dog teach a new dog and old trick?

You do realize there is already a discussion going on right now in regards to pistol grips? Why not contribute there, vs having numerous likeminded threads?

I don't get what your trying to say. Go back to 1.5" instead of 1.75"? If someone is buying the wrong GPM nozzles, you could say something to them and explain why you need higher flow... just sayin
What type of fire are you using the booster line on? Do you need more than 35 GPM on a booster? We use a 1" booster for wildland/grass fires only and I think we only get about 25 GPM out of it. It doesn't come off the truck for anything larger than a trash can fire, or small grass fire.
