PHILADELPHIA - Fire crews battling flames inside a Center City apartment building and former go-go bar say the blaze is now under control.

The fire was reported at 11th and Callowhill streets shortly after 11:30 a.m.

Firefighters were going floor-to-floor to make sure the building was clear and have reported no injuries at this time. It was officially placed under control at 12:43 p.m.

SkyFox over the scene at noon showed flames showing on the roof of the structure.

A sign on the corner of the structure indicated J&J Trestle Inn once operated within the building, but the rest of the units appear to be apartments. Officials said some immigrants residing in the building were displaced.
