Four children are hospitalized Wednesday morning after a fire roared through their house in Strawberry Mansion.


The fire broke out around 2:30am in the 2400 block of North 30th Street. The fire was quickly brought under control, but the children were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for smoke inhalation. Their conditions have not been released.

Firefighters are still on the scene of the smoldering house. An investigation is underway.
