NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Police said a row house in Norristown was firebombed and the blaze quickly spread to other homes on the block.
State police said someone threw a molotov cocktail onto the porch of one of the homes early Thursday morning.
Four of the houses on the block are destroyed, including the home that apparently was targeted. Five others suffered heavy smoke damage.
One elderly neighbor remains hospitalized with smoke inhalation. Others were treated for minor injuries.
Investigators say the firebombing is connected to a similar incident on Tuesday at a nearby house. Police said the people in the houses are related.
Police are looking into whether the firebombings are connected to gang activity. There have been no arrests.
