Firefighter Robert Stone age 47, who was not married, responded to a CO alarm at a residence. After returning, FF Stone left the fire station to return a short time later as he was complaining of chest pains. The Firefighter was treated by EMS and transported to Reading Hospital.

Hospital medical staff advised he needed to have surgery to repair an aortic separation. He underwent the procedure and was recovering.
