Fire crews are on the scene of a fire at business along West Main Street near Stroudsburg.
Cyphers Truck Parts on West Main Street caught fire just before 9 a.m. Monday.
Four apartments above the business were destroyed.
Fire crews from Stroud Township, Stroudsburg and Pocono Township are still at scene trying to put out a fire that continues to rip through a business and apartments near Stroudsburg.
Fire officials said the fire started around 9 a.m. in an apartment above Cypher's Truck Parts.
Cyphers sells truck parts and equipment and has been around for more than 60 years.
Firefighters said the business also sells car fluids which started exploding inside the building, causing more flames to battle.
"Apparently it was engulfed, number one. A couple of customers saw the flames coming out of the window. Then the fire alarm, we have an internal fire alarm, went off and the bottom floor where the business is started filling with smoke," said Kevin Cyphers.
"Coming down West Main Street I could see the smoke in the air. When I got here I was just in shock. We've lived here five years. Thank God my parents and her parents live near us so we have someplace to go," said fire victim Stephen Berno.
Traffic is closed on West Main Street in Stroud Township from Hazle Street to Pocono Park Drive.
Arlington Street is also closed from Greene Street to Tanite Street.
Fire officials said the one problem they are having is the water pressure from the fire hydrants.
They said that section of the county is older and water pressure isn't as strong.
Officials said everyone made it out of the building safely, including the people who live in apartments above Cyphers and the nearly 10 people who work there.
