Paradigm Shift Ahead? There Should Be

I posted a new blog on Firehouse Zen today that I would hope people would read and understand. I'm sure between adding and dropping words and other social priorities maybe we should consider some pressing issues like whether or not there will be a fire service in a few years.

But don't let me be the voice of doom. I understand that all of us crazy people have some pretty strange and scary ideas, like computers in emergency response apparatus, heads-up displays in SCBA masks, military thermal imaging technology to find victims in fires, social media being used for real-time intelligence gathering; you know, crazy talk.
