Pager

Alright so I got my mintor V pager today (have been going on a scanner an phone calls to know when we were being called out) an just curious what does the squelch button do? I know you use it when your doing a test on the pager but wondering what else its uses are.

All it does is reset the pager after an alert or if its on alert and you press down the squelch button it will turn on the speaker for how ever long you press the button

Sometimes they are set to reset during a page ending the page. Looks fancy but those are the only purposes for the button.
