BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Firefighters are working to extinguish a raging house fire on the city's east side.

Crews were called to the home on Broadway, near Memorial, around 4:30 a.m.

When they got to the address, they found two buildings on fire.

Officials say, there are no injuries reported at this time.

Buffalo Fire Department Chief Don McFeely explained what crews found inside the building when they arrived. He said, "We got two vacant structures, that are actually attached, so it looks like a lot of mattresses, old furniture, it's all piled right to the ceiling. The one on the east side there was well-involved on arrival."

There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time. The building has been vacant, so it looks suspicious.
