P25 Portable

Hey brothers and sisters,

I am in the process of purhcasing a portable radio for my personal use. I am currently involved in multiple EMS agencies as well as a fire department and would like to ditch the 3-4 pagers I have and use only one radio with paging capabilities. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should be looking for? My county's Public Safety dispatch currently operates under the P25 Digital system and also uses VHF as a backup as well as for multiple private EMS frequencies. (Hospital-Hospital, EMS-Hospital, ect)

I would like a personal portable radio that can operate under the P25 system and allow paging, but also pick up VHF frequencies. Is that possible? Please give me some suggestions! I would really appreciate it!
