YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. - One person has been killed after fire swept through a home in Ypsilanti Township.

WXYZ-TV says the blaze broke out at the two-story home about 30 miles west-southwest of Detroit just before midnight on Monday.

The victim has not been identified. No cause has been determined.

An investigation is ongoing.

Messages seeking further information were left before business hours Tuesday with Ypsilanti Township fire and police officials.
