EVANSVILLE, Ind. - A woman has died and two men have been critically injured in an Evansville mobile home fire.
The Vanderburgh coroner's office says a woman thought to be in her mid-60s died in the fire Tuesday morning fire but it withheld her name pending positive identification. It says two men, James Hill and Randall McClean, were injured, but it did not have their ages.
At Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis, where the men were flown by helicopter, spokesman Todd Harper said both men were in critical condition Tuesday afternoon.
The Evansville Courier & Press reported a woman at the home used an oxygen tank. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
A dog also died in the fire.
Firefighters say they extinguished the fire within 45 minutes.
