Overland Park firefighters found one person dead at the scene of a house fire.

Firefighters responded to a house fire call Friday afternoon and found a garage in flames. Crews began putting out the garage fire while others searched the house.

After the garage fire was under control, they found a person dead in a car in the garage. The victim was not identified.
