New York Firefighters Battle Apartment Fire
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Firefighters in Mount Vernon are battling a blaze at a three-story apartment building. There are no reports of injuries.

About 25 firefighters are at the scene on South Second Avenue.
The spokesman says the fire originated on the top floor.
