ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Fire officials in Rochester continue their investigation into a weekend blaze that killed a man and two young girls.

Authorities say the fire broke out around 12:45 a.m. Saturday in a building with several apartments but only two were occupied, including one on the second floor where the victims were found.

Firefighters were searching the upstairs apartments when intense flames forced them to evacuate from the building. After getting the fire under control, firefighters resumed their search and found the bodies of a man and two girls under age 10 in one of the apartments.

Authorities haven't released the victims' names. Fire officials say more information will be released Monday.
