CLOUDCROFT, N.M. - A fire has destroyed two buildings on Cloudcroft's main street.
A spokesman for the south-central New Mexico community, Arlen Ponder, says one building was still burning about 9 a.m. Monday.
Ponder says the blaze broke out between 3:30 and 4 a.m.
The cause isn't known.
Ponder says there are about a dozen buildings on Burro Avenue, the main street of the mountain community.
The two burned buildings sit side by side.
Ponder says two or three other buildings have water damage.
