new lid

lookin at getting a leather helmet (my first leather). i am goina wait until the expo hits pittsburgh in october.

i have a large melon and looking for one thats well balanced and comfortable to wear on long calls. i like to have a light on my lid, goggles (shields suck and get in the way, plus i can remove the googles for structure fires)maybe the burks.

thanks. i would go to the harrisburg one but ill be headed to AIT for the army so i wont be around for that one.

never had goggles can't help there but leather is the way to go. it will with stand more heat for longer then the bedpans made of fiberglass.

Buy a 90's era n5a from ebay and restore it with paint and a new liner. Sits lower on your head and is lighter than the current New Yorker.
