TUCSON, Ariz. - A neighbor rescued two children from a burning west side Tucson home, and firefighters rescued a woman from the house.
Tucson fire spokeswoman Capt. Tricia Tracy says a neighbor heard screams coming from inside the house late Monday, went in and helped the children to safety.
The Arizona Daily Star reports that smoke and flames kept the neighbor from going back to help the woman.
Firefighters arriving on the scene brought her out.
The children and the woman were taken to a Tucson hospital.
The fire was reported just before 11 p.m. Monday and was brought under control by 11:13 p.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
