So i need advice because im not sure what to do when the BACK brim is cracked, and im not talking about a small crack. the reason why i ask is because, although i can see the crack and partially bend it in that spot, its still holding together.
i will post a few pics so you get an idea, i really dont want to take my helmet OOS for another few months but let me know what you think i should do.

ive seen the nz standard ff helmet run over and it was F#@ked, was ran over by the appliance too lol
Sooooooooo, BRIAN,
How did you manage to crack the brim on your composite helmet? Because to be honest I am of the mind you did something stupid to break it. Perhaps you thought you could put the "uber cool" leather helmet sharp bend in it and heated it to try and bend it and SNAP!! you broke it instead. Because as hard as I am on equipment I simply have never broken a composite helmet like that or even seen one broken like that.
So come on, tell us how you broke it.
A Bronx bend on a composite??
That's just wrong, man.
Well mean15,
I was just tossing out ideas and that was one that occured to me. Frankly though, I never understood the Bronx Bend, even when I wore a leather helmet.
I'm assuming that the Bronx Bend is a way for an individual to mimic an old salts helmet? To do this is ludicrous... Firefighters are not supposed to be slaves to fashion, nor should they give a shit. The helmet is designed to do a job. Your altering the helmet to look cool is ridiculous and embarrassing. Please tell us that you did not actually do this, but instead had a vehicle drive over it or some other physical insult.
get a new one gear should be in perfect condition
