From 04.04. to 06.1999, NIS RNP was bombed seven times.
In the course of bombing, huge fires broke out on: the tanks containing curde oil and its producsts, the units, facilities and instalations.

The first attack, 04/04/1999. at 04.20 hours with two missiles
- Were destroyed, three boilers, two hydrogenerators, distribution facility
- Damaged: chemical preparation of water, administrative buildings, pipelines and the surrounding buildings
Destruction of the boilers to produce steam (3 x 60 t / h), released a large amount of water vapor (45 bar). And to meet the Power Plant area so that no conditions to fire of liquid fuel in the boilers. Power failure, the raw material for liquid fuel pumps are switched off and thus halt the flow of the boiler burner. Service ZOP intervened only on the roof, where he lit a bituminous waterproofing.

The second attack, 12/04/1999. in 2.35 hours. with ten missiles
- Destroyed: the Power Plant building, cooling tower, furnace S-300, S-2300 S-300 reactors, pump house 11.15, Tanks

- Damaged: old cooling tower, power stations, process equipment S-300/2300, tanks drilled fragments, control room equipment S-2300, 14th century monastery "Vojlovica" with surrounding buildings.Since the fire occurred, was established in eight sectors (block: 5,6,9,11,14,16,20 and autorefills)

All fires were outside and pump house -11 catastrofic.Seweral sectors are extinguished within an hour while the pump house-11 closed after twelve hours of closing, as a result of continuous supply of fuel to the fire place. The bombing was broken hydrant network, which is capable of isolating the damage.
The action involved the closing of eight fire team (by invitation): MUP's Belgrade and Pancevo Brigade, petrochemical  - Pancevo, volunteer fire company ...)

The third attack 12.04.1999. in 22.35 h. with one missile.
- Destroyed: atmospheric distillation furnace (S-100)Plant S-100 was before the bombing discharged, rinsed and inertized.
Projectile is directly affected by the furnace (BA 101), while the fire originated on equipment penetration pipe fragments. The fire on the equipment was quickly extinguished, and the furnace stopped fighting because of the danger of air announcements. Upon termination of the dangers of air, fire being extinguished by about 30min.

The fourth attack, 13,4.1999. In 5.30, 5.38 h. two missiles.
- Destroyed: tubular bridge with pipes and radiators at the plant (S-2300)Complex fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) before the bombing, partly emptied, opened and cleaned (maintenance) and
partially emptied and inertized. Due to the larger pipe diameters that are termoisolated (mineral wool), the pipe bridge fire extinguished after two hours, with continued manual shutdown devices soaked insulation

The fifth stroke, 16.4.1999. in 02.21 hours.
- Destroyed: Air coolers vacuum distillation plant (Al 2203 A, B, C, D, E 2204 A, B, C)Vacuum distillation plant before the bombing discharged, rinsed and inerted. External fire came quickly extinguished.

The sixth stroke, 18.4.1999. in 01.27 h. with six missiles.
- Destroyed: Tanks with derivatives 1701.0718, 1001, 1901, 1905, 0256, 0251, container 0251st
- Damaged: Tanks 0252, 0253, 1601, 1602,1603,1604,1605,0254,1806,1204 and vessels, reactors, transformer stations compressor plant building bitumen (S-0250)Service has intervened after the air threat (02,30 h) in five sectors (block 7,10,12,17,19) All fires were ignited phase (eight tanks) with the development of secondary fires. Four Tanks are directly affected  . Fires kept under control, and after eight hours have expired three fires.
Longer fire-fighting is the result of interruption of the intervention because of the air occurred.Five Tanks with a derivative burned , because there were not enough fire extinguishers extract.

Seventh attack, 7.6.1999. in 23.50 hours. with three missiles.
- Destroyed: Tanks 1802, 1803, 1804.1203, 1402, 1404, 1902
- Damaged: tank 1801.The fire was extinguished in eight sectors (blocks 12,14,18,19). Five tanks are directly affected , while the tank 1801, full of water, lit up on the roof and quickly extinguished. The tank 1203 was lit in by transferring fire, several times , but because of non-extract and rapid decomposition of the foam, the tank is burned. Tank 1902 with 21 700 m3 of crude oil is heated and burned fragments of the 19 000 m3 of oil for the assessment of technical staff (team of accidents) to dont accept proposal to extract crude oil from the reservoir.,
