It has been a few years since I took the EMT-B test. I would try to talk with someone who has taken it lately, but the thing I remember the most was that the questions were worded different that I had expected. But if you know the material you should be fine. make sure you take advantage of the online pretest for EMT-B         http://www.emtb.com/9e/    also try accessing the NREMT site to see what is available.  http://www.nremt.org/nremt/about/reg_basic_history.asp.

Do not assume you will get all the info in class lectures, READ and study the book.  Buy the study guide and actually use it.

There is study software available that you can purchase to help you with your written test.  My company creates such software.  I don't think I am allowed to mention the company on this forum, but if you contact me, I can give you more information.
