I want to take just a few minutes of your time to tell you about my new blog!
As most of you know, I was recently laid off from my job as a director of communications, which really stinks. So, I’ve been looking for local jobs in my field to no avail, which also stinks.
With a stinky national unemployment rate of 9.6 percent, I’m guessing that a lot of people are in a similar predicament.
That is why I decided to launch Mamma Needs Dough. (www.mammaneedsdough.com)
The site takes a humorist look at unemployment and underemployment because there is no better time to laugh than right NOW.
I’m hoping that anyone who has ever been laid off, been underemployed or who has struggled with finances, will be able to relate to my blog.
Please take a few moments and peruse the site. I would love some feedback! Also, if you know someone who would get a kick out of reading the posts, please forward them the link to the site.
I’m not asking anyone to BUY anything, just read it. The more traffic I generate to the site, the better for me.
Again, your feedback (positive and negative) will help me going forward.
