I really don't understand why Vicfire wouldn't tell you that over the air! ROFLMAO... Sorry, I couldn't help myself there - I know I wouldn't have wanted to be in that locker room though!
as long as we are discussing MVA's and animals, and you are looking for an off the wall example... here's one I heard at a CHP Weigh Station from the officer behind the counter...
Here's why you don't want to allow horses to stick their heads out of trailer windows... like this:
the problem was that a semi had to swerve to avoid hitting another car doing a lane change. in the process, the semi passed the horse trailer and decapitated all of the horses heads... and yes, it was a mess.
Another unusual call . . . a lady had driven into a swamp and needed C-spine stablization before removal. The paramedics waded through knee deep water to get to her, and I decided there had to be a better way. We layed the extention ladder across to the car, then layed backboards on the ladder to make a bridge. The lady we were extricating refused to be touched until someone agreed to look after her cat. One of my crew finally agreed to take it home. The "bridge" was a little shaky, but we got the cat (and the lady) safely out of the car and into the ambulance.
