PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Fire officials say one man has died in a fire at a multifamily home in Pawtucket.

Another man who lived in the six-family home was hospitalized while two firefighters required treatment for smoke inhalation. No names were released.

Officials say the fire was reported at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Firefighters helped several people out of the home on Broadway and the victim was discovered unconscious on the third floor, where it is believed the fire started.

The cause could not immediately be determined.
