ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Firefighters are currently battling a three-alarm blaze at a business complex in downtown Albuquerque.

Authorities say it's not yet known what started the fire that broke out about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday near Mountain and Broadway in the city's northeast section.

No injuries have been reported. The Albuquerque Fire Department has not let any firefighters inside the structure because they're unsure of its safety.

Smoke is visible throughout the Albuquerque metro area. An employee of the facility says most of the businesses in the complex store paper and cardboard and that's fueling the flames.

By 10 p.m., authorities say three quarters of the block-long business complex was ablaze and crews were aerially fighting the fire and attempting to redirect the flames away from the unburned section.
