Mo. Deck Collapse Injures Nine
(AP) WILDWOOD, Mo.
A deck has collapsed during a bridal shower in the St. Louis suburb of Wildwood, sending about 10 people to hospitals with injuries.
St. Louis County police spokeswoman Tracy Panus says the deck gave way around 6:45 p.m. Thursday while about 20 people were standing on it.
She said the partygoers suffered injuries ranging from minor to serious. But she added that none of the injuries were "life-threatening," including the person flown by helicopter to a hospital.
