The most recent fires at Seven Springs Village in the 9300 block of Cherry Hill Road was reported around 4 a.m. Thursday. Many of the residents of the apartment complex are students at the University of Maryland.

Firefighters found two fires set near the elevators on the fourth and seventh floors. They were quickly extinguished quickly controlled and damage was limited, but smoke filled the hallways.

Officials say several residents were treated for smoke inhalation after a similar fire at the same building early Monday. Investigators are also looking into a fire set on March 8 at the base of the elevator tower.
