A firefighter in Weymouth, Massachusetts was injured this morning while fighting a brush fire. The unknown firefighter was on a fire truck adding foam to water lines while fellow firefighters battled the fire behind a condo complex, according to WHDH-TV.
Officials said the firefighter fell approximately 10 feet while trying to get some equipment down from the ladder truck, according to WBZ-TV.

Our State Safety Regulator (Worksafe Victoria) has published a document about fall prevention for emergency services. Whilst we're pretty much exempt from the Regulations while performing our duties (response), there's still a very clear duty of care to members.
