LANCASTER, Pa. - Fire officials say a blaze in a central Pennsylvania home has left one person dead.

Authorities say they have recovered the body of an adult from the destroyed home in Lancaster. The fire broke out early Monday and sent four others to hospitals.

Fire officials say a man and three children escaped the blaze, which spread to adjoining homes after it was reported around 5:30 a.m.

Fire chief Tim Gregg says investigators are trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
