We as Firefighters have by nature a very dangerous job.It is both physical and mentally demanding on us.Then throw in some out side factors such as weather budget cuts training or lack of training and experience. So meany departments all across the country are experiencing severe budget cuts. That means working more with less and your back up may be farther away and take more time to help you if you get Jammed Up.There are more FireFighter injures and yes more L.O.D.D. when you cut our man power and resources it makes a dangerous job that much harder. We as Fire Fighters have to look at all the LODD and near misses and learn from them so we can try to prevent it from happening again.Training more and working together is also very important. This site and others are great places to learn from and share info with others.
