Afternoon everyone,

My question may seem basic and may have been asked before and I apologize in advance for that. I am a current student right now studying to get my EMT-basic in 8 months from now and then the last month ill be testing for my advanced. I'm not really far into EMT class right now, all we have learned is "The Human Body" and now learning "Patient Assessment." I wouldn't say that EMT class is as hard as people make it out to be but it does take a little studying. My question for everyone is what studying advice would you guys suggest for me to help really learn the chapters? I did learn the Human body chapter by studying that for like 3 weeks and to me, that seems like a long time just studying one chapter and was wondering if there was any other studying habits that could make it easier and lessen the time cause I go to school every third day and each class we move onto a new chapter. That leaves me with only two days in between each class to learn these chapters before we move onto the next and that causes a lot of stress for me. Andy advice? Much appreciated

Been a EMT for 35 years and even when I do refreshers now the best way I do it is with study groups. 4 or 5 people all read the same chapter and do questions on each other. Every person is different but this works best for me.
