Jason, At first because it was on YouTube, I thought a video would be playing, but not until I saw movement and the arrows did I figure out that you were using stills. You need to better prepare the user with a statement like the following photographs will highlight bla, bla, bla... This takes away the distraction of waiting or the video to start verses listening to what you say.
Because you are using this format, you should consider inserting simplistic bullet points to identify key points you want the user to walk away with.
Finally, why just one photo staying on the screen when you refer to fires and other significant points that should have a corresponding picture. Tell the story, but provide graphics and written words to cement the learning experience. When talking about egress, show people leaving via stairwells and crowded doors. A video short here would be invaluable.
Fine tune this, add more photos to tell the story, provide words for visual learners and consider the use of video as well as you on camera to personalize the experience.
That should do it...

Thanks, that was my first time using that program. Hopefully I will get better at it.  This particular program currently doesn't allow the insertion of videos, but the other points I will certainly look into.
