Leather fronts

For a helment leather or not? And since we are on the subject leather helments or not? Can anybody remember what the different colors mean on the fronts?

I believe strongly in leathers but a lot are fading from them (even though I sneak mine in) as far as color shields most times they are standard but each dept varies some..
Orange = Probie
Red or black = fire fighter
white or red = officer
green = safety

in some cases the helmet color itself will also have color change to reflect these.
