LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Fire and Rescue officials say a Sunday morning fire at a substance abuse and mental health treatment center appears to have been intentionally set.

Damages to the Community Counseling Center near Maryland Parkway and Sahara Avenue are estimated at $100,000.

Three center office, a portion of the roof and the attic suffered significant damage. And adjacent business also had some smoke damage.

In a news release officials say fire investigators found evidence that fire was intentionally set. The fire remains under investigation.

A police officer on patrol in the area reported the fire about 7:30 a.m. after seeing smoke coming from the building.
