Landmark furniture store burns in western Pa. (Associated Press)
Fire has destroyed a landmark furniture store in western Pennsylvania, causing $1 million damage.
Investigators still aren't sure how the fire started Thursday morning at Rustic Acres Furniture in White Township, Indiana County.
David and Donna Reed had owned the store for 29 years, and housed it in the restored dairy barn that burned since 1999. Before that the store was located in an airplane hangar in DuBois.
The current site which burned is about 45 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
The alarm was called in about 8 a.m.
The building was insured, and David Reed says his family plans to rebuild the business.
